Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering Technology

Department Introduction

Department of Electrical Engineering  Technology was established in 2006 in order to meet the short and long term requirements of industrial/ commercial organizations of Pakistan for graduates in Electrical Technology. The Department of Electrical Engineering Technology offers Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology (B. Tech) degree program. The Department has well-furnished classrooms, state of the arts laboratories which fulfill the needs of the current industries. The department has an up-to-date library, stocked with the latest reading materials and text-books for the use of the students and the faculty members. The department arranges seminars and workshops on various areas of Electrical Technology. These seminars are delivered by faculty members and prominent scholars. At the moment the department is offering B.Sc. Electrical Engineering Technology (four year degree program)   affiliated with University of Engineering & Technology Peshawar and University of Technology Nowshera.

Scope of the Technology

This program is designed to prepare the students as a technologist, this program is suited to those wishing to pursue a career in the communication and power industries, power system and electric drives. In addition to the technical and practical expertise that students will gain from Civil technology, student will discover that our degrees are designed to provide the opportunities to learn and develop transferable skills. Civil Technologists are in demand with employers within the Pakistan and overseas. Within Civil technology, the main employment areas include Construction and maintenance of buildings and Infrastructure, Civil engineering plans and designs, Bridges, roads, tunnels and irrigation system , Inspection and Testing of materials and Quality Control.
