Every year after the matriculation examination’s result is declared, the admission process starts. Prospectus is available from the College main office on a cash payment of PKR: 200/- to the concerned clerk.
Once this process completes, the date of classes / annual schedule is displayed to the students before the commencement of the classes
Every year when the DAE third year results are declared, the admission schedule is given in national Urdu and English newspapers. The degree program was previously affiliated with the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar. However, due to the recent HEC notification, we are now transitioning to the University of Technology Nowshera(Being the Only University for Technologist of KPK). Dates for ETEA test as requirement to the admission process is decided by University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar. The admission process starts from the mid of August and ends in the mid of October. BSc Engineering Technology program from the year 2020-21 is going to be semester wise. In this regard the relevant detail will be shared before the commencement of the admission process.
Diploma of Information Technology or DIT program is offered for the students who are matric passed and professionals from every walk of life. This is a one year duration program, which covers the fundamental concepts of computer literacy needed in today’s job environment.
Similarly a one year course of Electrician is also being offered by GCT Swat. This course is aimed to provide hands on experience along with theoretical concepts required by an Electrician in job market.
One year course on Surveyor is also being offered at GCT Swat. The purpose of the course is to enable the prospective candidates to apply the skills of a surveyor in the construction industry.

Admission starts in the month of March every year. The interested candidates are directed to visit the College for any additional information.
Every year under the annual development goals, the Prime Minister or Chief Minister initiative for Technical and Skills Education courses are offered. These courses are of various natures. The College advertises such courses in English and Urdu Newspapers. Students of middle level, or Skilled labors who are already working in industry are encouraged to apply to such courses.
