Introduction      

The institute was established in 1984 and is situated at a distance of two miles from Mingora eastward on the road to Jambil Kokarai. Its magnificent and picturesque building is spread over an area of 24 acres.

It has an administration block, Staff Colony, Two hostels, and departments along with well-equipped laboratories and workshops. The College has a playground for physical activities and sports competition.

We are working for the attainment of the following objectives laid down by KP-TEVTA Peshawar.

The overall objectives of Technical Education and Vocational Training policy is to provide the economy with qualified and competitive workers and to train citizens to be able to participate in sustainable growth and poverty reduction by ensuring training opportunities to all social groups without discrimination.

The main objectives of National Skill Strategy are:

1. Providing Relevant Skills for Industrial and Economic Development
2. Improve Access, Equity and Employ ability
3. Assure Quality

The College currently offers three year diploma in the following areas of Engineering Technologies

• Architecture Technology
• Civil Technology
• Electrical Technology
• Mechanical Technology

We have also four year degree program (Bachelor of Technology B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering Technology and Civil Engineering Technology.

Besides these programs the College offers evening extension programs in the following skills areas

• One year Diploma in Information Technology
• One year Diploma in Civil Survey
• One year Diploma in Electrical Supervisor
• One year Diploma In Auto Mechanic

The College also offers special programs from time to time either by the Prime Minister initiatives of Hunar Mand Kamyab Jawan Program or Chief Minister Free Technical Education program.

Since establishment of the College, the pass out of the College have been serving in various national and international organization.

Our main employers both at federal and provincial level are Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission PAEC, OGDCL, PTCL, KP-EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, KP-TEVTA, PAKISTAN RAILWAYS, PAKISTAN LOCOMOTIVE FACOTRIES, C& W, PUBLIC HEALTH, WAPDA, PEDO, NHA, FHA, LOCAL GOVERNMENTS, IRRIGATION DEPARTMENTS, PIA, NADRA etc.

Similarly our alumni also have largely been employed in private sector within the country.

At international level our alumni offers services in various multinational organization of development, aviation, construction, industries in Gulf as well as elsewhere.
