Introduction

Architecture technology was established in 2010, and has distinction of being the first in the district, Swat to offer DAE in Architecture. The Department, thus, has been the fundamental contributor towards the founding and establishment of the profession of architecture in Pakistan and this maintain its leading role through offering program of architecture.

Ever since, students from all over the province have shown keen interest to obtain admission. Students have carried out comprehensive architectural projects including architecture software, Model making and architectural history related to various aspects of our built environment and architecture heritage. The projects help understand hitherto unexplored aspects of our build environment and propose innovative solutions. The minimum and maximum duration for DAE Architecture is three year, which is counted from the date of registration.

Scope 

From the pre historic time the importance of architecture aren’t negligible because human beings always need shelter for living which is basic need to human kind. Architecture has always scope due to construction industry in the country and all over the world. With the new technology and innovation in the construction field also face changes and innovation in the architecture field.

The computational design, fabrication design and smart geometrical due to this the architectural design becomes more elegant and contemporary. For this reason the use of architecture are not only in the buildings but also in the economy of the country and feasible to the environment, also the challenges of current situation of security issues the building become more secure by using of architecture software e.g. Revit architecture, Auto desk cad, 3D max etc are helping to generate a smart design.

And now architects work on modern technological software which help them to generate an innovative architectural design which feasible to the environment and become sustain to the climate changes as well as to the economical of the world.
