Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Program at GCT Swat
GCT Swat is doing the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) activity in collaboration with NAVTTC since May 2020 . RPL is a valuable process designed to formally recognize and certify the skills and knowledge acquired through informal learning experiences, such as the traditional Ustad-Shagird system.
This program provides skilled workers with the opportunity to gain official recognition for their expertise, improving their access to better job opportunities both within Pakistan and internationally. The best part is that this program is currently being offered free of cost.
How to Apply
If you are a skilled worker, you can apply for the RPL program by following these simple steps:
1. Visit GCT Swat to collect the RPL form.
2. Fill out the form completely and attach a copy of your CNIC along with a passport-sized photo and attach work experience on the letter pads or on simple paper.
3. Submit the completed form at the college, and the college will contact you once the assessment is arranged by NAVTTC.
Assessment Process
Candidates will undergo a practical assessment in which they will be given specific tasks to complete within a set time frame. At the end of the assessment, candidates will be evaluated and declared either Competent or Not Yet Competent based on their performance.
